Dr Lin YuCheng Chairman & CEO

Dr Lin is the Chairman & CEO and founder of our company. Dr Lin has about 20 years of experience in the environmental research and consultancy business in Singapore, UK and China.

In November 1996, Dr Lin started NOVO Environmental Technology Services Pte Ltd (NOVO ETS), a subsidiary of PSB Corporation and was its General Manager and Executive Director. When NOVO Safety and Environmental Technology (Guangzhou) Co, Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of NOVO ETS, was established in April 2001, Dr Lin was appointed as the Managing Director of the company.

Dr Lin obtained his Ph.D degree from Imperial College of Science and Technology, London on a Sino-British Government Scholarship. After spending 6 years on environmental research in UK, Dr Lin was recruited by the Singapore Economic Development Board in 1990 to conduct research and development work in SISIR, Singapore.

 
Tay Beng Chuan Independent Director

Mr Tay was a Nominated Member of Parliament from 1 October 1997 till dissolution of Parliament on 18 October 2001. He is a member of the Singapore Parliamentary Society. Mr Tay is the Chairman of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board since 7 February 2007. He was also the President of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry from March 1997 till March 2001 and currently is the Honorary President of the said Chamber. He is the Chairman of Premium Funding Singapore Pte Ltd operating under the Moneylending Act which provides insurance premium funding and small loans to SMEs and individuals. He is also the Managing Director of Winnow Investments Pte Ltd, Ocean Navigation Pte Ltd and Alor Star Shipping Pte Ltd. These companies are involved in general trading, investments, ship chartering and shipping related activities. He holds a Diploma of Commerce from the Gordon Technical Institution in Geelong, Victoria, Australia.

 
Yeung Koon Sang alias David Yeung Independent Director

Mr Yeung is currently a public accountant with David Yeung & Co. PAC, which he founded in 1987. He has over 20 years experience in public accountancy and had worked previously with Deloitte & Touche, UK and Ernst and Young, Singapore. He holds a Master of Social Science (Accounting) degree from the University of Birmingham, England. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. He was conferred the Public Service Medal by the President of the Republic of Singapore in 2001. He is currently a non executive Chairman of AEI Corporation Ltd.

 
Dr Chong Weng Chiew Independent Director

Dr Chong is a medical doctor. He was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Ang Mo Kio Hospital from 2003 till June 2005. The hospital is a 200-bedded community hospital which provides medical care and rehabilitation services for its patients. Prior to joining Ang Mo Kio Hospital, Dr Chong was a medical director of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society from December 2001 to December 2002, a medical director of the Singapore Buddhist Welfare Services from May 1997 to November 2001, and a medical doctor with the Ministry of Health (Singapore) Health Care from May 1993 to April 1995. Dr Chong holds a MBBS (Bachelor of Surgery, Medicine) degree from the National University of Singapore and was a Member of Parliament representing the Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency from 2001 till 2006.

 
Wang Ning Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer

Mr Wang is responsible for operations of our Group. Prior to joining our Company, Wang Ning has served the Sinopec Group for more than 10 years, where his last positioned held was Deputy General Manager of Sinopec Guangzhou Branch.

Prior to that, Wang Ning was employed by Liaoning Panjing Natural Gas Chemical Plant as Assistant Engineer and Deputy Director between 1987 to 1992. Wang Ning obtained his Bachelor degree in Electrochemistry from Tianjin University and MBA from South China University of Technology.

 
Lee Suan Hiang Non-Executive Director

Mr Lee is the Executive Director of the Arts and Culture Development Office at the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts. Prior to this he was Chief Executive of the National Arts Council, SPRING Singapore, National Productivity Board and the Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research. Mr Lee was also Chairman of PSB Corporation, Deputy Managing Director of the Economic Development Board, Deputy Chairman of the International Federation of Arts Councils and Cultural Agencies and Council Member of the International Standards Organisation. He is also President of the EDB Society and a Fellow of the UK Chartered Management Institute, Chartered Institute of Marketing and the World Academy of Productivity Science. He was awarded the Public Administration ( Gold) Medal in 1998, the World SME Association Award in 2001, the Japan External Trade Organisation Award in 2002 and the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres from the Republic of France in 2010.

 
David Haifeng Liu Non-Executive Director

David Haifeng Liu, Partner of KKR and CEO of KKR Greater China. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Liu was Managing Director and Co-head of Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia. Mr. Liu has established one of the leading investment track records in Greater China and was responsible for a number of successful and innovative investments such as Mengniu Dairy, Ping An Insurance, Belle International, Nanfu Battery, Paradise Retail, Hengan International, Shanshui Cement, China Modern Dairy, Far East Horizon, VATS Liquor, China International Capital Corporation, Rundong Auto, etc. Mr. Liu graduated from Columbia University as Class Salutatorian with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society and a winner of the Edwin Howard Armstrong Memorial Award for the top electrical engineering student at Columbia University.

 
Julian Juul Wolhardt Non-Executive Director

Julian Juul Wolhardt, Partner of KKR focusing on private equity transactions in the Greater China region. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Wolhardt was with Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia and was responsible for its private equity business in China. Mr. Wolhardt has been actively involved in advising on investments in China Dongxiang, Mengniu Dairy, Ping An Insurance, Belle International, Hengan International, Shanshui Cement, Yageo Corporation, China Modern Dairy and Far East Horizon. Mr. Wolhardt is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign).

 
Zhao Fu Non-Executive Director

Zhao Fu, Senior Principal of KKR, being one of the first team members in Asia when he joined. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Zhao was with Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia, where he was extensively involved in a number of highly successful private equity transactions in China. Mr. Zhao played a significant role in a number of successful and innovative investments, including Far East Horizon, Rundong Auto, China International Capital Corporation, VATS Liquor, China Modern Dairy, Mengniu Dairy, Ping An Insurance, Belle International, Paradise Retail, etc. Mr. Zhao holds a B.S. in Physics, with first class honors, from Tsinghua University in China.
